Have an Ariens YT-12 with that wonderful little Kawasaki engine. Was running great but suddenly nothing happens when turn key. Bypassed safety switch under seat, turned ignition on and grounded starter with screwdriver -- started right up and runs great. How to troubleshoot? I don't know where the other safety switches are located that keep it from starting if mower is engaged or shifter is not in neutral or brake is not fully depressed. Or do you think it could be that the ignition switch is not engaging the starter?
