Ariens Edge 52", model 915254, Kawasaki FR651V, 127 hrs. I do mower repair 6 days a week so I'm not totally oblivious but this thing will not stop digging a small patch in the grass with the right drive tire. I realize it's not that uncommon but I just need to lessen the damage somehow.

This machine came in before (within the last few weeks) for the same reason but it was literally digging a trench at that point. I finally tracked it down to the front Caster shafts, they would spin perfectly fine when off the ground but not with the weight of the mower on them, they had major resistance and the machine literally would not pull itself to turn without spinning.

I took them apart and the plastic bushings were perfectly fine. Since there are no grease points, I added grease and it made a dramatic difference. To me, problem solved but the customer thinks differently. It does leave a small patch, more than most machines I'm familiar with but to me personally it is what it is. Is there anything I'm missing? I want to exhaust every option before I tell the customer I can't do anything about it.

It's most likely operater error. He or she should practice 3 point turns.

That was my first guess but it's doing the same thing with me even on 3 point turns. I've never experienced this on my zero turn or any others. It's just gonna have to be what it is at this point, I can't keep chasing my tail. Thanks for the response
