Repairs Ariens 960460063 broken drive pedal

My Ariens 2014 46" 20hp briggs right side forward reverse drive pedal fell to floorboard. No drive and cant move mower. Ideas?

Either broken idler tensioner spring or broken or misaligned belt.

rod from pedal to top of trans. has popped off … circlip or cotterpin? won't actuate ...

Both ends use a cotter pin and washer to hold the rod in place. Easy repair.
