Are stens belts good for riding mowers? OEM quality 037x88ma

are stens belts oem quality 265-031 to murray 037x88ma? Is it work it to get the 31$ murray 037x88ma or are the aftermarket belts just as good or better? for a 42" 17.5hp 42500 04 mower.
 
Stens makes good stuff.

Belts are another story. One can order 10 of the same part number belt from the same company. Every one will be a different size. See this a lot in air handlers with multiple belt installs.

Most of the time the OEM belt is best.

How about the max power or power care belts they sell as replacements at home depot. Around 18-22$ Stens is also listed at lowes. Theyre 10-14$ cheaper then the oem murrary belt is 32$ 810 also has a nitrile rubber polyester cord belt for 17$ replacement for 037x88ma. They seem to have a good reputation.
 
I am a stens dealer. I have installed dozens of stens belts. Only had issue with one being wrong size. They confused B size with 4L size. Belts are good quality.

so their 265-031 stens is a correct fit for a 37x88ma murray mower? Know any other better belts that are cheaper then the 32$ murray belt?

And do you know where to find the fuel tank for the cheapest i believe has to be oem brand the aftermarket tanks melt on amazon for the 04 42" 42500 murray mower?
