A ZG20 Kubota? I found one on Craig's List with 1777 hours on it. Has 48" deck on it. Also has a bagger system on it. Supposedly well maintained. I need a leaf system.

Depends on how all thosee hours got on there. How hard was it worked?

I have a Scag Tiger Cat with 1550 hours and the hydraulics are shot. Going to cost some money to fix.

At 1500 hrs? Did you ever service them? A scag should last a lot longer than that with proper service

Yes, changed hydro oil and all. I had 2 Scag Wild Cats Liquid cooled and I put 3000 hours with no problems.

Moving on to exmark and hustlers now. Medium duty seems to work better for me.

Actually I might be interested in getting it just for leaves. Possibly even getting it IF the bagger would work on my ZG222. I need some way of getting leaves up that has a way to bag them.....

Not sure what had been done to it but a guy in our town had a Scag with 9000 hours on it.

Don't buy the mower just by the bagger.

Leaf Vacuums | Lawn Vacuum Systems | Grass Bagger | Grass Catchers | proteroinc.com You can dump them easy and there are lots of different sizes

There in lies my issue. I can buy this mower with the bagger on it for just a little bit more than those cost. They are in my opinion way too high.

And if you buy this you get a bagger and an excellent machine

Or one that may be on the verge of breaking, and needs costly repairs just for you to use the leaf catcher. You already have two mowers, so you don't need another. How old is the bagging system? If you buy the machine you will have one more mower to put gas in, service, haul around, and you only get to use it as leaf catcher. IMHO I would buy the new leaf catcher and just keep the two mowers. Don't buy the machine to leaf catch, buy the leaf catcher to put on your existing machine. You don't know for sure if either has big problems.

Looking for grass catcher system for my JD X340 54" deck. Any alternatives to new JD gear? Very expensive.

Other than buying used, you could try this company. They might be cheaper.
