Hi Folks,

So the wifey kind of let gas can nozzle slip off can into the tank:ashamed:. I can't say a whole lot about it because I don't like sleeping in the dog house:laughing:, but my ocd is kicking in and I'd like to get that nozzle out of there. It's been in there a while (since last year. Hope that doesn't hurt anything). I tried fishing it out with a coat hanger but no luck. It looks like tank is just held on there with some bolts so I was thinking I could probably just take the tank off (and turn it upside down to shake the nozzle out).

Mower is husqvarna mzt-52.

Any gotchas to watch out for? Is there some knowledgeable unknown that makes this a terrible idea?

Thanks,
Pond

Hey man..lol Sorry about the nozzle.
I removed mine last year.
The job is easy and straight forward.
I can not recall anything to worry about.
In fact, I remember thinking how easy the task was and took only
20 minutes to R&R the tank. All fasteners are easily reachable and
located so they are not not hard to see. Good luck.

I was scared to take the bolts with the springs off, so I took the tank frame off the machine with tank attached. Bolts were harder to get to but even then not too bad. Mission accomplished!
