917.259572 won't start except when jumping positive post on solemoid

I have a 917.259572 mower that mowes great after you get it started. I was mowing the other day and stopped, got off to move a trampline and when I got back on it wouldn't do anything when I turned the key. I have replaced the solenoid and iginition switch and it still does nothing when I turm the key on. Where should I look next?

Have you found a fuse and checked it?

Did you make sure the "blade engage" was not still on?

Have you checked the seat switch plunger?
