616 grass Hopper hyd. Drive

I have a 616 Grass Hopper When I push the handles to go forward the left one lack about 1" to go forward as the far forward as the right one. Also, when I put it neutral it wants to go backward. I have adjusted it per instruction with no resalts. Can you help me.

The rod attached to the arms are out of adjustment or one of the arms have been bent, or there is excessive linkage pivot bushing play from wear.
