6.5hp carburetor jet question with the prime bulb

Hi there,
For context, I have a Yard Man 6.5hp mower. It started getting harder and harder to start. I was spending like 10-15 minutes pulling it with mashing the prime bulb mixed in. It acts like it wants to start on the fuel from priming it but never runs on its own anymore.

I have pulled the carburetor which has the number 214661 on it and have cleaned it with carb cleaner with no luck. The jet/ bowl drain plug has two jets above it. One goes into the throat of the carburetor and gas squirts out of it when the prime button is pressed. It is not clogged. The other jet hole is clogged. I can't spray carb cleaner through it. Is it supposed to be free flowing?

We could really use the model number information from the mower as well as the engine. That way we can see what you are looking at. 6.5 hp doesn't mean anything to us techs. We need model number information to look at our reference materials, and then assist you the best way we know how.

First when you take the bolt out to remove the bowl. That bolt is actually a fuel jet and has a hole in it that needs cleaned with a small peice of wire. You can also use thet piece of wire to clean all the other holes in the carb. just gently insert them in each hole and puch all the way through till it comes out the other side. Replace the spark plug. This is a good start. Let us know the results.

Thanks everyone for your time and suggestions. I realize it takes time to find parts diagrams and cheap parts and think up suggestions. It's appreciated.

I was sure it was the carburetor not putting out gas and the blocked off hole in the carburetor was the problem, but from those diagrams I figured out that the tube I was worrying about being blocked wasn't the problem. It wasn't able to suck gas out of the carburetor because the head gasket blew out. It must have started with a small leak then got too big for it to run anymore.
