46" Dr Lawn Mower Deck

I need a spindle for my 46" Dr Lawn mower deck I use on my Dr brush mower.
I would think dr power buys their parts from some other company, then assemble the whole thing. Do you know who makes their spindle on their old mower decks?

I was very frustrated w/ DR about the same issue. I disassembled the spindle assembly on my DR 46" mower deck and found the shaft worn out, not the bearings as any good design should produce since bearings are easier to replace than shafts. I called DR to see if they could provide a new spindle, but noooo; it had to be the whole assembly at $156.98 w/ S&H. I did some more looking and still couldn't find a spindle from a third party, but did find a new assembly at mowpart.com for $92.34 w/ S&H. Interestingly I replaced one 5 years ago from DR and their cost then was $82.90 w/ S&H. They couldn't explain the almost 200% increase in that time, but would not budge on the new price. Hope this helps.
