It had one on it that I messed up when I removed it.

Intek V-twins do NOT have an anti surge spring on the the throttle linkage rod from the governor arm to the carb throttle shaft. If one was present then some DYIer added it.
You simply only have governor and governed idle springs. Please refer the the engine's IPL as you need the date code as they used different ones based on the date code.

Get one from the engine manufacturer. Go online and find the spring. Get one from a small engine repair shop.407777-0146-B1
Need help locating the anti surge spring that goes on the throttle link. I'm not finding it.
