This is an engine on an older pressure washer. I have had it since new but it has not been run for about 10 years. I usually use Stabil when I know I will store an engine but dont recall if I did this time. The is a few tablespoons of gas that I poured out.
I have not tried to start it but I'm not expecting it will.
My question is about the carb. I'm familiar with cleaning a card with a float bowl but I don't know anything about this briggs carb. IF it won't start how do I clean this kind of carb?
Thanks, RCRVRP

It started! Even if I did remember to put Stabil in it way back when I'm amazed. At least 10 years and it started!
I think thats the first time in my life that a cheapo Briggs engine has given me a pleasant surprise. :D

I consider this fortunate.

I also recommend you get a can of seafoam or Chemtool B-12 pour in cleaner and put a couple of cap fulls in the tank with fresh fuel. That will help gently clean any resin deposits left behind.
