Hi Friends,
SO my Z-Force L54 now has a mere 23 hours on it. And I can start the thing up just fine, then let it warm up for a minute or two, have the engine going 'bout half-throttle (or full.. either way), and engage the PTO, and it shuts the mower off. I sent it in for a lookover, and they said they sped up the RPMs a bit and that it works fine. They brought it back to me yesterday. It did the same thing. They said I just need to choke it about halfway and then the PTO will not shut down the engine. So I tried that, and it works great. OK...
SO... as you have probably figured out by now, I don't understand how this stuff works. My concern is.. is it a sign of something else wrong that needs to be addressed when a brand new mower with just 23 hours has to be choked to get the PTO going, even after it's nice and warmed up?
Thanks for any input you can give on this.
