Just got a Gravely 2044 XL zero turn for free, when I got it the left side outer wheel bearing on the axle shaft came apart and the seal was torn. I replaced both inner and outer bearings and cleaned then pump best I could and refilled with 20w-50 synthetic.

I read on how to bleed the air out and did that 3 times (wheels off ground and move levers back and forth 5 or 6 times or until it moves smooth)

I can run it with rear wheels in air and it spins free and smooth but when on ground it whines a little and it skips or moves erratic or hops ( don't really know how to explain it) but then today I tried to bleed it again and when the rear is in the air and is moving smooth I can put my leg against it (pressure) it just stops moving and doesn't really have any grab. the right side that is fine will about take you with it.

forgot to say the belt is moving fine over both pump pulleys I cant tell if it is slipping though.

Is my pump bad or is it just somehow not bleeding the air out?

any help would be appreciated!

thanks
