Plug wire is on top of the coil I believe if correct?

I will check thanks . a friend of my bought this mower from Wal-Mart knowing something wrong for cheap but couldn't figure out so he gave to me , mower ha never ran brand new so I am trying to find out what wrong I am very good with engines but this one got me stumped
