I have a 2011 JD D170 lawn tractor with 150 hrs on it. Mowed fine 2 days ago came in a washed it and put it up. Yesterday went out to finish mowing and it would not turn over, click or anything. Thought maybe need battery charged so put on charger overnight. Tried again today and nothing except the hour meter was working. Put dc meter on it and it read 12.37 vdc. Pulled the fuse and it checked out good. Got back on the seat and pushed the in the break, turned the key to start and nothing. Checked that the blade was disengaged, pushed the forward and reverse peddles and tried again. Still nothing, not click or anything. Any suggestions? Owned since new in 2011 with not one issue.

Check all electrical connections visually & by hand making sure everything is tight & secure & free of rust & corrosion. Remove battery & ask local auto parts store to please load test battery. Let us know how it goes thanks, Mark

Get a pair of good jumpers
Jump from the battery - to a good ground on the engine
Mower cranks & fires up = bad ground
No change then
Get a jumper and connect from battery + to stater motor +
Engine spins normally = bad power cable

I double checked all connection again, checked battery (12.37 dcv) and finally did what you suggested and removed the battery. I went to Advanced Auto and asked to have a load test on the battery. He looked at the battery and laughed. He said do you know this battery is 7 yrs old and he couldn't believe it wasn't dead long before this. Ended up only having 1 cranking amp! Bought new battery, installed and tractor started right up and is running perfect. Thank you so much for your assistance.
