I have a 2009 LTX1045 with the 20hp Kohler Courage Eng. When the outside temperature is 65 or under the Eng will start and run for 45 seconds to a minute then will start running rough. If I choke it a little it will smooth out when it warms up and run fine. The colder the air temperature the worse this condition is. If its 70 or above the Eng runs perfect and smooth from start to finish. If it's 50 degrees or lower it will start and then die after around 30 seconds. Any suggestions???

I would say adjust your carburetor high speed a little richer.

They all may run rough in cold weather but this one chokes itself out and the Eng dies. It should still run in cold weather, rough or not. Is there anything that might be faulty or sensitive to the cold that shouldn't be??? It has absolutely no issues in warmer weather.
