2007 22" Toro Recycler (fuel tank)

Have been working on this mower for a friend. Didn't run and replaced the carb. Filled up the fuel tank and it leaks like a sieve. After some research it appears that Tecumseh tanks had a flaw back in the day. Other than eBay are there any other ideas or resources?

Sorry the model is a 20072. I also saw some responses on another thread that showed a recall that was still honored in 2017. I’ll try that tomorrow.
 
The tank is covered by a recall, but you may have go thru a registered warranty dealer. I don’t know if it is still being covered.
 
I was able to locate a previous thread that explained the recall process for a new tank. I emailed them the make, model, and serial number and the new tank arrived on Saturday.
