2 month old 9.5tq B&S motor on craftsman 28" professional wide area mower, dies

I've thought since I purchased it 2 months ago that the RPM wasn't steady and erratic, but now in addition to that it starts first pull but then quickly dies. I have to pull several more times with subsequent engine dying, until after a few times it catches itself and remains running.

The rpm is still sometimes erratic during use as well.

Any advice? I understand I could take it in but would rather troubleshoot/resolve myself if possible.

I removed the air cleaner housing and inspected the throttle/governor linkages, did not find anything out of wack.

It is under warranty , take it back to the shop.
If there is a major problem like a govenor or cam , you need to get a service history started.

I strongly suggest you take it in for warranty work, if you dig into it you might void the warranty.
