I am taking a high school small engine repair course. I brought in a 1994 Briggs and Stratton push mower with the model number of 12F702-0616-01; the instructor says that it is probably 3.5 horsepower. I am supposed to find the ring end gap specs for the engine, but I cannot find them anywhere. I sent and email to B&S, but all they replied with was that the answer is in some repair manual that costs $22. I don't want to buy the manual, I just want to know the ring end gap specs. Help would be much appreciated.
