1983 toro rear engine rider

i have this rider and nothing happens when i turn the key ,the battery is good the starter is good the solinoid is good, what is this Module for. i priced it and its 67.00. can i bypass it?
 
I'd first suspect the ignition switch.....do your bypassing here.
The module ?
Is this mower infected with "safety" devices ?
 
Make sure that you are sitting on the seat, with the brake engaged, shifter in neutral and the PTO turned off. This should eliminate all safety switches and see what happens.
 
tried all thoes things. the toro dealer says i can not bypass it, it goes through the stator. the only way is to elemate all the safty switches. bummer.thanks for your help.

I must be missin'something - why not just "bridge" where there was a so-called "safety" switch..
Or, just pay the $67 for a module.....
