03 XT-2800

Hello all I recently purchased this XT-2800 and the right side is weak and whines only under load the more under load the worse it is on level it goes equally well with the left at full rotation and speed. P.o. told me he was 95% sure it was the wheel motor. Upon inspection found it to have a White-80380 (13976) motor which a Dixie tech said is no longer available only to be replaced with Parker and 2 would have to be replaced. I switched the wheel motors and the trouble still stayed on right telling me the problem is in pump or filter maybe. I am confused because right pump looks to be new or rebuilt already. My book says I have a Sunstrand 10 A pump # 65070 ? I have not taken the pump off yet to verify what make it is as I thought it's a Hydrogear pump but could be wrong. I did hear that a dump valve can sometimes stick closed or partially closed causing I'll effects. I know I should try replacing the filters and oil but they both look like they have been recently changed ? Any suggestions before I drain the oil and take pump off and tear open.

If the pump is making a loud whinning noise it is usually the pump. You can have it checked with a flow meter and pressure gauge. Wheel motors usually feel like it is quivvering, Kind of like a chattering.
