03 Murray wont move with new belt

Have a 03 murray 40" cut
Transmission drive belt broke....I replaced it....now, when I push the clutch/brake pedal , it's extremely hard to push, and won't go do enough to do anything....any suggestions, thanks in advance (got the exact dame length belt the manual called for)

Belt is routed wrong
If you removed the tension arm spring you may have replaced it in the wrong hole

The only spring I removed was the one on the deck that goes to the lever that engages blades to remove deck

What is the model number of the mower and the belt size you purchased? And was the belt OEM or aftermarket?
