For me on my hrx it seems like it always the right wheel assembly that messes up.....

I run amsoil small engine oil in darn near all of my outdoor power equipment with great results so far,my hrx has near 500 plus hours on it

Yes sir,Valves have been adjusted and yes the cover was a bear to get off.....it runs perfect at full throttle.......the funny thing is that my choke flap never opens completely opens up and after a good hour of mowing i can reach down and open the choke flap all the way and it doesn't run quite...

Carol,if adjusting the cables don't help the problem,you need to disassemble rear drive wheels and clean the ratchets and inspect the ratchet springs along with the rest of the drive parts for wear.such as thickness of washers,pinion gear wear and thickness of inner and outer snap rings.hope...

I'm needing a new axle for my HRX and by looking at the schematic sheet,it looks like you have to buy the transmission assembly to get the axles......the problem is that the grooves on each of the axle where the C-clips behind the pinion gear is wore out and I have lots of side to side slop in...

Hey buddy,I love my 535,its going on 5 years now,I think it has better low end power,but the 240 is probably just a little smoother running at higher rpms....I also have a 525 commercial,its a nice trimmer also, and light weight.....I average around 35 to 40 gallons of premix between my chain...

Looking to change over my new FS 240 With handle bars to a loop handle setup.....does anyone know where I can find part numbers,I believe I'll need the loop handle,shorter throttle cable and the trigger assembly,I'm not sure if my trigger assembly on my handle bars will work.......
