I have a Ferris with suspension 37 hp , 61" deck. This is my 2nd. So yes I would (buy a 3rd.).

IMO I think engaging at full sped would put quite a hit on that belt.

My IS3200 came with the SK. After a couple of seasons the rubber strip wears out. I just got some heavy rubber material and made a new one. You could make a kit yourself.

I have the IS3200. This is my 3rd season on it. Excellent mower. Gas usage doesn't seem unusual to me. It's a big motor. I mow about 8 acres some smooth some rough no complaints. I've also owned 2 Bobcats. Great mowers but beat the crap out of me. Until there's a better mower with suspension...

I know Ferris changed the drive belt design awhile back. My last 2 ZT were Ferris with the 61" decks. And I noticed that there are 2 belts on the new one where there used to be just one.

I have a 2013 IS3100Z that ( when cold) fires right up idles fine and mows terrific. But after about 45 minutes of mowing it will occasionally lose power momentarily then catches and runs fine for abit till it does it again. If I stop and idle down will barely keep running or die. Let it sit...
