i changed my oil and when i went to take the oil filter off it seemed like there was a little gas in the filter..the mower runs good with no smoke..i have a possible stuck float needle or could it possibly be the fuel pump..im trying to get the money to get it looked at but cant right now..just...

i have a hustler raptor mower with a kohler 7000 series engine..it has started to sputter like its running out of gas..i am going to change the fuel filter to see if that helps..what else should i check?

would it do that if it was over full? i dont know much about mowers
