I disconnected the kill switch wires and it started. It ran well for about 20 seconds and stalled. I then checked for spark with the switches disconnected and there was none.

Ok, I will do that. If it runs with the kill wires disconnected, what will that tell me? If it starts, could I mow my lawn like that and fix the issue afterwards? The engine is Briggs and Stratton 407777

I broke down and made The 120 mile trip to work and back. Compression is 125psi. I have no spark on either bank. I’ll try to figure out why tomorrow.
