@StarTech is correct. The Echo Speed Feed 400 is the perfect trimmer head for the SRM225. Check the fuel lines, fuel filter, vent filter, primer bulb, and fuel tank grommet. Those parts can be purchased as a kit.

To save wear and tear on the gauge wheels, make sure that the deck isn’t riding on them. The wheels aren’t supposed to be in constant contact with the ground.

Is this a Snapper mower? Is the bottom of the fuel tank above the carburetor?

Okay, let’s start with the numbers of your Kohler manual. The CV393-27523 is for an 18hp Ferris. Is this a Ferris mower? Is the bottom of your fuel tank above the carburetor?

Have you looked at the spark plugs? Are they wet?

It sounds to me that you are cutting tall grass and weeds. If that is the case, start trimming at the top of the grass and work downward.

I don’t see any benefit of trading if the B7300 is still performing well. What’s the hours on your B7300?

A brand new fuel pump can certainly be bad. OEM may cost a little more but it’s a better bet than many aftermarket pumps.

This is a Kawasaki FJ400D in a Kawasaki Mule. The carbon fouling is pretty common in these things. The FJ400D is also used in EZ-GO golf carts and John Deere Gators. The standard jet for the EZ-GO is a #110 for sea level to 3,000’ above sea level. I will definitely need a smaller jet.

I threw the old plug away. The air filter is a new OEM Kawasaki. I plan on ordering the parts shortly.

Right, the #112 is the stock jet. However, the Kawasaki FJ400D engine lists a #110 as the stock jet.

I already have. It hasn’t helped. I currently have Champion RN14YC in it. I thought of putting a BPR2ES in it. The carbon fouling/rich condition seems to be fairly common in these Kawasaki Mule SX KAF400.

This Mule has always run rich and carbon fouls plugs. It’s getting to where it will need rebuilding or replacing. Is there a replacement Walbro carburetor available for this Mule?

The 89 octane would be a minimum requirement. Can you get 89 octane pure gas? If so, mix your own. If you use small quantities, buy the canned stuff.

This Honda mower is mulch or bag only. It has a dual blade setup. The grass clumping is caused by the grass being to wet, too tall, or both.

As many times as that bolt has worked out, it’s a good possibility that the washer was lost.

Rotary Copperhead #10667

Get a new 7/16-20x1.5” grade 8 bolt. You might need a 7/16-20 bottoming tap to chase the shaft threads. Torque new bolt to 52 ft.lb.
