I have a Kohler 7000 series KT715, does this have hydraulic lifters or do I have to set the valve lash?

When i removed the exhaust valve spring to replace the seal, the valve guide was the only thing under it. Does the seal get installed from the inside because the diagram in my service manual shows it being on the outside?

Replacing the valve seal on the exhaust side of my 7000 series 20hp engine. Looking for advice on the best way to install, should I oil it up first I've heard some people say the use Locktite when installing?

I might have found the problem, noticed the exhaust was loose after closer inspection only one bolt holding it on (loose) and no gasket. Thank you sears. Only question now is how much damage did it do?

I have 30hrs. on my 20hp Kohler 7000 series engine, valve cover was leaking badly on right side and looks like a burnt valve. Any help would be appreciated.
