Briggs engine on Toro recycler mower is possessed

On these mowers I have seen the choke rod getting bent and binding on the cover. I have also seen where the metal tab between the muffler and the thermostatic unit has been bent throwing the choke adjustment off.

    Briggs Carburetor dies when accelerating

And that foam starts to deteriorate. If you have that, remove it.

    D110 Issue

No, certainly clean post and cable clamp then put on nothing. Any substance added to the exterior of the connection will seep and interfere with that connection.

    D110 Issue

Many may disagree, but do not put anything on battery posts, nothing!

    ethanol damage solutions

Over the years and trying every imaginable solvent I have come to the conclusion that the best way to clean a tank is to leave it the sun to dry, then blow it out with compressed air.

    Leaf Blower?

Leaf blowers are both good and bad. What you need to ask is which one you should buy. I have a battery powered Ryobi model P21011VNM for blowing leaves off grass it is useless and has short battery life. After fixing, I used an Echo backpack PB8010T. That thing blows a huge amount of air...

Not true, brake linings for large trucks are still relined.

    Price guaging

Price controls only lead to shortages, the cause of this inflation is a huge increase in the money supply. It is a problem caused by politics and anyone that tells you otherwise is misinformed or more likely a lair.

    12 volt clone starter

Replacement for a generator I believe it is a 208cc, Pentagon 4400E. Anybody know where I can get one at a reasonable price? Or maybe just a part number. I did find one on "Generator Guru" #42352621 but it seems way overpriced at $120.00.

    2015 Toro v-twin won't start

Usually all these small V twins will start and run on one cylinder so it seems likely that you have a problem that effects both, most of which have already been suggested. I have found that many Kawasaki's have a tendency to cut spark plug wires on sharp sheet metal, you should check this to...

Looking for advice re: purchasing a reliable lawn tractor

I didn't read all of the posts which proceed mine. I find the Briggs to be far more dependable then the Kohler. The Kohlers have electrical problems with both charging and ignition, these problems are almost unheard of on the Briggs. Starters are very good on both. I have also seen failures...

    Bad coil... already?!

I don't recall ever using a Raisman coil but their other parts are as good as any.

    Corroded ring terminal, battery cable

Sure it should be replaced, but if it is spinning over it is not the solution to your starting problem.

    Used oil

Whatever you do with your old oil, do so anonymously. You do not want to be associated in any way to a superfund sight. Something like 95% of money that supposedly goes to cleaning up land that was contaminated by hazardous materials actually goes to lawyers that will endlessly harass companies...

    Turbocharging a lawn mower

You can pretty much assume that the weakest part of most small engines is the connecting rod. If you find it interesting to read about high performance small engines, try here: https://4cycle.com/karting/

    Turbocharging a lawn mower

torque x RPM / 5251.1 =HP In order to add a turbo you would need to also add some sort of pressurized oiling system. I am guessing that the kits you showed are for larger engines.

2019 Troy Built mower - 09P602 engine model - Plastic Carb - Will not Start

That is likely your problem. You probably bent the rod that goes to the carb butterfly and the rod is rubbing on the breather hose. Another problem often caused by the repair person is they bend the rod going to the choke thermostat and it will rub on the engine cover. For further...

Can't get the governor to set ? Simplicity Cobalt Zero Turn

By the way, when you state the the governor will not set what do you mean? The engine over revs? If you are doing a compression test what is the additional problem you are trying to solve?

Can't get the governor to set ? Simplicity Cobalt Zero Turn

Most small engines (if not all) have compression releases which will give a false impression of the condition of the engine. Instead do a leak down test. Leak down gauges can easily be made or bought fairly cheaply but a gauge really is not necessary. To do a leak down test figure out a way...

Can't get the governor to set ? Simplicity Cobalt Zero Turn

I have seen several Kohler Governors that have broken the internal (plastic) gear. If this has happened to yours, you have a big job ahead of you. If you have limited experience you may find it easier to look for a used engine or even a old tractor that has a good engine. Generally you can...
