It would help US to help YOU, if you posted your machines info. usually found on a sticker under the seat ... see EXAMPLE .......... sounds as though your cutting deck needs adjusting.....it's in the owners guide if you have that.

The new Chinese carb I bought for $25.00 came with a solenoid on it, works like the OEM .. an OEM solenoid costs as much/more than 2 of the Chinese carbs ! This is the carb I'm currently using on my 17.5 HP Briggs on my 42" Murray .. Works GREAT !! .. :thumbsup:

Marc, Sorry to say you're up against the wall, I can usually find info on a great number of mowers, but... it appears that your Noma is a Canadian Co. product, the company was bought and sold several times by different American Co. I found nothing in the way of manuals whatsoever, just a few...

I find that's USUALLY the common practice, BUT .. some Manuals will use 2 different P/Ns for distinguishing Right or Left

My apologies, I did'nt notice it was a push mower, as stated in your Avatar area, but the advice of cleaning the fuel system still applies, and the air filter too.. your mower probably does NOT have a fuel filter or shut-off valve for that matter, I believe you may have a fuel pickup with a fine...

Got the 2 Governor springs on the throttle control bracket in the right locations.. if so, it might be a problem with the governor in the sump ?? do you have a Shop Manual ?? Post your engine info as shown in the EXAMPLE.. You might want to have a look at these videos...

You need to buy TYGON ( yellow ) ethanol resistant fuel line from your local lawn equipment dealer, ( I have found it at ACE Hardware stores also ) see attached pic ........ ...... it comes in various sizes to suit your needs

I'm thinking you might have a variable speed pulley type transaxle with a "variator" when you step on the forward pedal harder, it goes faster, in any case get under the mower and see if you can see a data-or ID sticker and does your mower have a setup similar to the enclosed pic..... ...
