For those that do their own tire repair and have a drill press with a locking quill the D Press is a good way to hold the wheel down while the tire iron is being used .

If you have no measuring tool for the bore and the cyl looks like a hone will suffice , check the ring end gap . Feeler gauges are cheeeep . There are videos for that procedure and what's tolerable .

if heat is applied don't heat the hub but heat the outer parameter of the pulley allowing the torch to reach the hub on occasion . The idea is to draw the hub from the shaft without heating the hub .

In instances similar , a metric thread file covering 8 options is a handy tool .
