Not Not fuel delivery issue cause wont even start on carb cleaner. Flywheel was pulled and key was checked. Amazon carb. Doesnt matter where the carb is made its all made overseas now. I have amazon carb on pushmower I use here with no issues for 5 years.

Yes when looking up the camshaft and timing gear. The original timing gear was plastic but superceded to a metal timing gear and camshaft has plastic sleeve on the metal shaft.

I dont have the 44r engine. PO didnt give me the blown 44r engine. Im using a 407777 0124 b5 engine.

Im not using parts from 44r877. Im using the other engine and deleting the choke cable feature.

My plan was to use a choke matic carb plus whatever I need to use to delete the choke cable feature on the vtwin.

Update: Valves clearances are at .004 Never believe a spark tester on a champion plugs. Put new plugs in fired right up. idk how many times I flooded it when trying to start it after replacing the flywheel.

Update: Customer called and said when the magnet broke off the flywheel they heard loud bang.

I find that hard to believe about ultrasonic cleaners. I know experienced shops that been in business for over 30 years that use them everyday with success. Dont have a working stove or crock pot. Im just gonna replace it. Thanks for the help.

I already cooked it for a hour in a heated ultrasonic cleaner. This is the nikki version not the walbro. Only adjustment is the idle screw. Rebuild kits dont come with a new seat. Seat isnt removeable.

I guess the only thing left to do is to replace the carb since theres no fuel/air mixture screw to adjust.

Holes line up with vent hole and no change with half choke.

What do you mean choke wasn't hooked to air box?

Still surges with the air box removed. This carb has no adjustment except for the idle.

Briggs 20hp vertical shaft 461707 0143e1 9904285B Rebuild it carb and cooked it in ultrasonic cleaner for one hour with heat. Still surges on idle and top speed. Carb just has ide speed screw. Carb doesnt have a removable seat either. This is the 4 screw fuel pump carb setup.

So can worn cam lobes cause it to not turnover with plugs installed?

This is vtwin engine not single cylinder.

All pictures online doesnt show a compression release on the camshaft.

Wont turnover with plugs installed. battery is 12v load tested. yes solonoid good, If the solonoid wasnt good it wouldnt crank reguardless if the plugs were installed or not.

I can turn over hand when forcing it but its not bending any pushrods. Part number for the camshaft is 790562, All the pics shows no compression release.

Any thoughts on the pics? heads or more likely camshaft without opening the crankcase with measuring the cam lobes?

Yes its pretty grassy in the front where the carb and linkage are. Still doesn't solve it not turning over. When I force it by hand it doesn't bend any pushrods.

Yes I understand. Both valves on both heads opened and closed the same before removing the heads. I guess i have to open it up and visually look at the camshaft and measure the lobes and compare to what the briggs spec is for this engine before replacing the heads.

Both heads been removed. When customer dropped mower off they to keep turning it on/off to get it to start. Came with deck belt issues. Now it wont even start for me. Spark plugs are normal.

Flywheel key is good. I removed both heads. Exhaust valve on cylinder #1 is catching/sticking when i open it my hand while valves still attached to the head.

Muffler on that part number has 2 holes on the bracket and pipe on muffler is hair off. My muffler has 4 drilled holes on bracket on muffler and pipe on muffler has 90 turn then comes out straight hair and no heat shield. It's possible it's the right muffler and kawasaki redesigned the muffler...

Kawasaki offered muffler kits on some engines where you get pipe and muffler. But never got close enough with the exhaust pipe. I come close with kohler on exhaust pipe and kawasaki on the muffler.

The exhaust pipe looks like kohler.

It was just repair shop. No equipment

Equipment numbers don't exist cause I bought inventory from a shop that closed up
