I have another question. I have ZT 3400's on my Dixon with an expansion tank. Would it be beneficial to change the filters on schedule, suck the oil out of the tank and replace it with new oil? Does the oil in the tank circulate thru the system? I did the initial change at less than 100 hrs and...

Maybe I dreamed it, but I thought I saw on this or another forum that it had been changed. It was a post about oil burning in that engine. Sorry if I am wrong.

Kawasaki has updated the crankcase breather on the fr730v engine. I just wondered if anyone knew which year the change was implemented. My engine was built in 2014 or earlier.

Does anyone know when the breather assembly was changed over to the updated one? Mine is on one of the last Dixon mowers.

Can I use RTV on the valve covers rather than gaskets? Will it leave enough clearance?

Wrong engine, but what about a kawasaki 730v valve cover? Same issue?

I only used it once when my grandson hid my keys. Didn't hurt the switch and the screwdriver was small enough to fit in the cup holder.

I own one of the last Dixon ztr's made before Husqvarna shut them down. A small flathead screwdriver works fine.

I can understand adjusting the valves at the specified hours. However, how important is it to decarbonize the pistons? I use stabil 360 marine in each tank of fuel and Techron every 2-3 months. If it's not necessary, I'd rather not remove the head.
