    Craftsman Lawnmower. (Battery)

99% of the batteries used in push mowers are a standard SLA battery. If the old one is still on the mower it will have info printed on it. You can use that to find a new battery.

Greenworks 80 volt Pro Charging issues

I find it ironic I went to a friends house to look at his 1957 evinrude outboard engine and the guy can't drive his Nissan Leaf because the regular lead acid car battery that powers the electronics is dead. The car needs a battery to tell the car to use the big battery.

The Truth Behind Why Shops WON'T Work On Your Stuff

The Truth Behind Why Shops WON'T Work On Your Stuff

I have a half dozen hemostats. Getting line through the holes is easy. It's just the time to clean the saw up, put new diaphragm in the carb, replace fuel lines and filter, clean and dress the bar and sharpen the chain and clean the clutch. We are at $75 there. If saw doesn't run right how much...

Briggs Vanguard V-Twin rocker arm lubrication

If you look at a briggs flathead engine the mist must travel through a hole about 3/8"" to get into the valve spring chamber to lube the valve guides.
  15. Hammermechanicman

Briggs Vanguard V-Twin rocker arm lubrication

Briggs engines with solid lifters oil the valvetrain by mist oiling. The oil in the crankcase is whipped onto a mist, not vapor, by the crankshaft that lubricates the valvetrain. Engines with oil pumps push oil to the crank for the con rod and upper bearing but not the valvetrain. So engines...

Why 50% of All Crimp Electric Connections Fail - One Trick Fixes It

A properly crimped terminal is what is called gas tight meaning the metal of the terminal is compressed hard enough on the wire that oxygen molecules can't get between the terminal and wire. If not crimped properly oxygen can penetrate and oxidize the metals causing corrosion. 99% of DIY crimps...
