    Cub cadet xt2 dead

    I was working in my driveway levelling it. I stopped to make an adjustment and it died like I had shut it off. The LCD was blank. Question: would the seat safety switch cause this or is the ignition switch the culprit? Battery is fully charged Thanks in advance for your responses Don

    Throttle cable???

    I have a XT2 54". I have had the throttle cable pull out of where the cable attaches to the throttle lever. twice. I made a metal insert for the hole where the cable inserts. That seems to have fixed it.

    engine swap

    I have a cub cadet XT2 54" with a Kohler 26 HP. I am pretty sure there is an oil ring gone bad. I have found a Kohler 27 HP from a Cub Cadet LT 1554. Wil it fit on my XT2? Don
