Hustler X-onei 52 inch zero turn mower. I need to swap out the right hydro transmission. Is there a step by step tutorial I can look at or watch?

I think this model of Hustler uses pumps and wheel motors. You will need to provide the model number and serial number of the mower. You may need the serial number and model number of the pumps and wheel motors.

My suggestion is to dispose of that thing and buy you a new 2 stoke trimmer by Echo, Stihl, or Husqvarna.

There is an arrow on the fuel filter. The arrow indicates the direction of flow. The arrow must be pointed towards the carburetor.

I don't know if your FR691V came with a foam pre-filter or not. If not, I would suggest getting one. The manual says to replace the paper filter every 200 hours. I would do it at every 100 hours.

I don't know if it will void the warranty or not. If you stay with the OEM filter, keep it clean. You can wash the foam pre-filter. You can also remove the paper element and blow it out with a leaf blower. Blow from the inside out. Also, vacuum out the air cleaner box. A thin film of grease on...

Kawasaki FR691V? If so, pay extra attention to the air filter. They are known to load up fairly quickly. There is an aftermarket filter available.

Kubota 125s begins to lose power after warm up.

Power loss on hills and sharp turns is another indicator of fuel delivery problems. Trash is moving around in the fuel tank. The fuel needs to come out of the tank or tanks and the tank or tanks need to be cleaned. DO NOT use a powered pump to remove the fuel. The steps that I have described...

Kubota 125s begins to lose power after warm up.

I also think it's a fuel issue. Is the fuel filter installed with the arrow pointing to the carburetor? I noticed that you have a 2017 model. I would suggest replacing all of the fuel lies. There is a high probability that they are deteriorating on the inside.

There is another option. You could mount two smaller tanks. The two return lines would need to be plumbed into the top of separate tanks. The bottom exit of both tanks will need to be into a single line that goes to the filter.

    snapper zero turn clutch testing

The easiest way to install a spring is to loop a piece of rope or nylon cord on one end of the spring and pull it over the stud.

    snapper zero turn clutch testing

Test the connections before you order a clutch. You want to confirm that there are no loose connections, broken, or places the wiring is chuffed and grounding out. You can test the clutch independently using a 12 volt battery.

    Echo mowers

The Scag is going to be considered a commercial unit. I think it's a good choice. It will give you much better service than the Toro residential units or the Echo for that matter. Toro and Exmark also have commercial units. Bad Boy used to carry them as well. I've had experience with the Toro...

The Briggs and Stratton engine is another giveaway. If I were in the market for a walk behind mower, I would look for a commercial unit. The best walk behind mower that I ever owned was a 21" Snapper Ninja commercial.

Next question: Are you in the market for a commercial unit or residential unit? It looks like the Echo mowers are just Toro mowers in a different paint scheme.

As far as the Gravely, I would spring for the ZTXL 42. It has the Hydro Gear ZT2800 transaxles. There is some adjustment in the Scag handle bars. There are handle bar extension kits available for the Scag. Ask the dealer. Go back to the Scag dealer and press him on the handle bar adjustment. The...

New Zero Turn Purchase - Toro Vs. Gravely

For my particular property, I calculated $41 per acre on a bi-weekly cut. I have 3 acres. $240×8=$1,920. It would like have been higher. It's closer to $100+ per acre now. That certainly adds up and can justify the purchase of a mower.

New Zero Turn Purchase - Toro Vs. Gravely

Yes, the ZT2800 is serviceable. However, some have exterior expansion tanks and others don't. It depends on the mower manufacturer. Most lower cost residential units use the EZT series hydros. They can be serviced however, there isn't a filter. The Gravely ZTXL 42 also has the Hydro Gear ZT2800

New Zero Turn Purchase - Toro Vs. Gravely

Scag has not gone downhill. Buying a mower from a big box store is setting yourself up for problems. First of all, it may not be assembled and set up correctly. You also may be getting old stock. New Zero Turn Purchase - Toro Vs. Gravely

The Bobcat appears to be a decent unit on paper. Just a reminder, if you have gates, a 42" deck may not fit through. You wil need to consider that a 42" deck is around 43" wide on the outside.

    Issue with the deck

I once owned a MX5060. It had the Loncin made 708cc engine. The deck adjustment/hanger system was one of it's weaknesses. It had only two adjustment points. One up front and one on the side. I could never get it perfect. It was always slightly higher on one side.
