    OK... Let's See Your Mower!

A while ago, while golfing, I noticed the club had a bunch of Deere mowers sitting- faded paint, flat tires and all. I was so tempted to ask if they would sell them. Being they would cut large swaths like fairway and rough, It would have come in handy in my 1.5 acre yard...right next to my...

    New Toro Start Problem

I would do some troubleshooting before he takes it in only to be told a "dirty carb" is not covered by warranty. -look at carb opening. Being cold, is the choke closed? Does the choke connect to a lever that connects to something else(like auto choke or thermal choke) If open when cold, then u...

    Uh-Oh Ethanol!

That's old news. This was reported many years ago. These reports never touch on how "gasahol" eats may parts in older cars. What they don't tell you in gas-ahol is the intensive multiple stages that it takes to grow the corn they get gas from using a diesel tractor to boot. Actually, I would...

Does coating the underside of deck really work?

True. Water carved out the Grand Canyon... ps. The best luck I've tried is rubber roof coating. after 2 summers, some is coming off but I don't see rust unlike other options like paints, car undercoating, etc that come off quick. My dad had a sandblasting business and blasting barely scratches...

Lifetime Deck warranty is not hhhhonored

The 1 time I bought new was an Echo Hedge trimmer. They live up to your statement as they (store and echo support) point out I was responsible for labor. A friend and his echo blower had the same experience. It is cheaper to just buy the part and replace it myself. Good sales trick.

States and locales banning sale of petrol powered tools in a coupla years

On youtube there is a video where the guy shows a few Teslas- you know the "green vehicles" charging. Following the power cords, they go to a large diesel generator. In your case, the mowers will leave their truck running while they are cutting to charge up batteries to swap every other job.

    Quantum 5.5 electric start help

Bolts to the engine are your ground. I would check the safety switch. Standard spark plugs vs. iridium.........

Electricity arcs easier from sharp edges. They say Iridium tip plug is harder than copper plug so it hold the sharp edge longer. I think plugs are like oil.
