I think you may be right.. Never any issues here.. Now I only mix with Amsoil Saber Never knew of the Shin T-230X, Cool. I love my 10 year old T235.. Best I ever had, & bought it new.

Wow, I used to use Tru Fuel in my Shindaiwa T-235 at end of season when my can ran empty.. Never any issues.

I'm still under warranty (5 Year), but paying them to come & get it would be way more than an idler would cost. Certainly not a water contamination issue, as I have never had water near it, not even rain. And I engage blades at lower mid rpm's then throttle up as my book advises.

That's what my Dad preached & having common sense was important as well..

A relative has a Hustler Raptor w/ Flip up deck. For easy under deck access, he is 82, I like that feature, but seems Hustler has dropped due to the additional $2k price for that option.

It is Part # 483422, approx 1/18" side play, normal or not ? Only the one pulley.. May be beginning of very slight noise down there. Only has 58 hours on it.

Agree with that, My Toro & now My Liberty were both off the marked cut height setting.. But I fixed that & Even compensated for me on board. Yes I'm pretty **** about some stuff.. Otherwise it keeps me up at nights..

You are holding the spark plug base metal to touching the engine metal ? This completes the circuit. Maybe try & test again.

Wack is a word in street lingo. I agree about proper spelling, but I always just spell it weed-wacking, when noting it on my calendar.

I upgraded to "Husqvarna Titanium Force" line. Never had a weld issue since.. I do only buy 1/2 lb donuts of it at a time. Because this line is lasting for 1 year per spool load (20 ft).. So 1/2 lb lasts me about 3 or 4 years.

Yep, I mix @ 50:1 using the Amsoil & my stuff runs much better than when I used Red Armor..

I don't think that is excessive.

I had that issue on the old string I was using.. Too hot a load for the string. I upgraded string & haven't had issue since..

That's why I hang around here... Lots of good help, I love learning new stuff.

One thing is not to feel a need to Totally fill the gear head. One can cause more heat by overfull. Just a pump or two. Depending how much you use it. , Mine I do lots of vertical edging, & regular edging /whacking as well.
