Are you considering using Gasoline AND Propane on the same unit? Different Carburation is involved. Propane does NOT damage Pistons. I use N.G. in my 14KW Generac. A 20 lb tank is quite small to be used on a Generator.

Do NOT engage your blades at idle. Belts are stretching.. Blades are NOT to be a knife edge but actually square, 0.050 vertical gives 2 cutting edges. This Topic should be ended now.

In Hamilton Ontario Canada CENTEX is selling E 15 Gasoline. 15% Ethanol. Cheapest. According to several sources, this is not good for pre 2020 Vehicles or small engines. No anti knock sensor to ****** timing....Pre Ignition is not good for Pistons. Google it. G. Baker

Off Topic I know but a cut rate Gasoline station In Hamilton Ontario (CENTEX) is selling E 15 Fuel as it's cheapest. Not good for pre 2020 vehicles and should never be used in Small engines like Mowers etc according to Google. Preignition with no knock sensor to ****** timing. Just so you know.

Remove the drive belt. Done. Remove side discharge plate if there is one and install a guard directing debris downward. Done.

Try it and see!!!

Clean and rinse as best you can and run it. Use a Fuel Filter.

Cutting a new keyway seems best. Be sure to use the Aluminum Keys, not steel.

It appears that the Fuel Filter is installed backwards. Big end to the Fuel pump is the norm. It makes a difference on some systems. Remove Battery connections both ends, clean and recharge battery. Good Luck. Looks like a B&S 14.5 HP.

A total waste of time to clean Carbon from Pistons. You only had to remove the Valve Cover and check valves with Feeler gauges. 0.004. 0.006. Done. Original head bolts should be fine. Lightly lube and Torque per Specs.

Keeping the proper Air Pressure in the tire did the trick.

I suspect that you have a slow leak and are running without sufficient pressure. It is rare that a Bead will break but that would cause it to fail permanently. Check your tire pressure and keep it at the Maximum.

There is NO PROBLEM. It was designed that way. Many had Bushings. Just Drive it.

Some were just Oil-lite ™Bushings. These spindles look like new. Don't mess with the bearings.

It is my understanding that a Battery Tender only charges a tiny amp/hr to the Battery and shuts off when the Battery is fully charged. I use one on my 2008 XLR which has multiple parasitic drains and it performed as it should during the Winter. The unit has a small green indicator light.

If you loosen the bolt holding the Pinion Gear you may be able to drop it off. Centre the Rack and then the Steering Wheel and reinstall Pinion Gear. If it is worn you can drill the one end so the gear can be inverted. Loosen tie-rod and adjust to straight or with a very small (1/8) toe-in.

Try the Sea Foam, Have tank near empty, Shot glass full into 1 qt/l of Fuel. Run for 10 minutes and let sit for 3 days or so. Worked for me after cleaning the carb did not.

Spend whatever it takes to clean up the yard making it free of mowing hazards.

Do these 2 things if you have not already done so. REMOVE and Clean Battery Ground and other Terminals. Hook them up to a Fresh Battery that is fully Charged. Simple stuff First. Then check starter and Solenoid Terminals. Remove and clean to bright metal.
