Since Dixie Choppers are no more is there any parts we should be buying up / hoarding

Was at where I use to work and they are telling me the parts will still be available through Rino Ag. a Division of Alamo Group, Was told you can potentially buy a new mower for 50% off.

Hate to see them go I own 3 Running 2 not running and two junkers. 3 of the running ones are 1997 1999 and 2000. Year models they just don't die. The other two fixer uppers are 2010- and 1999-year models.

One part that I'm kind of worried about although there are aftermarkets ones out (but how good are they?) The electric pto clutch...how many hours should it last? If that goes I'm done for awhile. May go ahead and buy one just in case as I plan on keeping mine for awhile.
We never bought the original clutches from DC bought the Xtreme Clutches never had to replace one of them yet been using them for years. Much cheaper than the original. https://xtremeope.com/p/xtreme

Dixie Chopper will not be missed by me. In the early 2000s they had their heyday. As the zero turn market became more competitive, they lost market share and lost. I literally have not worked on one Dixie Chopper all my years of doing small engines. There was a Dixie Chopper dealer in the city I live in and quit carrying them a long time ago.

The World's Ugliest Lawnmower had two main selling points. The stainless steel body which really wasn't necessary since that is the only part of the lawnmower that doesn't get destroyed by rust on any mower, and the world's fastest lawnmower claim which later was overridden when Hustler came out with their 19 mph model. But I will still let Dixie have the claim because the 17 mph version of the Dixie would mow at that speed, whereas the 19 mph Hustler could only mow at 12 mph.

But did enjoy watching them run the mowers around the oval banked track at the factory when I was working In Fillmore years ago.

I'm not surprised. The DC mowers aren't real popular in my area. There's one dealer in a 100 mile radius. I see more homeowners using them than professional contractors. Grasshopper will probably fill the vacuum around here. The GH is becoming more popular in my area. It's hard to compete with the big guys like Exmark, Scag, Gravely, Hustler, Toro, and John Deere. Bad Boy and Grasshopper are making gains.
