Hi, can anybody help?

I'm trying to find this part for my mower, but I have no idea what it is called

First, I think your model number is incorrect, could it be R43RVE. Second, are you outside the US, I ask this because I’m not find your unit in US distributors? Third, where on the unit is the part attached? Unless I can understand your unit better, I can’t be of much help. Sorry about that.
 
Coming up as an electric mower on searches.

But need a Picture of the serial number tag please. It appears to be a rear wheel cover. need to search serial/pin number.
 
Apologies, I will take pictures of the serial number tag and of the mower later today. I'm in the UK by the way.
 
Okay as suspected it is a cover for the roller drive. You have a R43RVE SA816 or SA916 model. LH covers the chain and RH is just for a finish look.

LH cover PN SAA10241
RH cover PN SAA10242

Unable to find any image of either part.

Funny if you enter the serial it comes with a different R43 but using the R43RVEand selecting the SA816 then you get to right mower.
 
After looking at the pics I googled JD ROLLER DRIVE MOWERS and then found R54RBK which then gave those exact numbers. Two ways of getting to the same answers.
 
Apparently there is a problem with the JD serial/pin lookup on these mowers or at least with this one.

Just proves that the OEM doesn't always have their grits and gravy together 100%.
