Hi Tom,

Lowe's has an area dealer send technicians out to uncrate and prepare the machines. The blade issue would be a factory assembly defect or mis assembly. Also, someone could have been careless with a forklift.

A servicing dealer is who would need to diagnose and correct this.

Is this the machine you are referring too?

Yes that is my mower Lowe's could not tell me anyone to service. I had no way to transport the mower the dealers were less than helpful they said that was what I got for buying it at lowes . Now the warranty is over .

See if there is an independent small engine shop in the area that can help you, but you are still going to have to figure out a way to get it to them if they don't pick up and deliver for a fee. No one works for free.

Some people are mobile, but you have to call around.

In the shops (slight) defense, they are likely having trouble finding anyone willing to work (for next to minimum wage) on this kind of equipment anymore.

Hi tom tuttle,

I've been in the vehicle and equipment repair industry most of my career and it has gone downhill and gaining speed since the early 80's when I started out. It's not just small engine shops.

I hope you can find someone to address this problem.
