I use gator blades. They mulch and they are thick and will not bend if you hit a root of stick.

Make sure you check that idler pulley the bearing may be bad.

Thanks for all the posts. I removed the fender portion it's all one piece. Not very hard to get off and thereI It was wide open. Will make it a lot easier to replace the transmission drive belt too.

Thanks for the reply but I can't find the nut. Do I have to remove the tower or something.

The bracket is number 43 the 2 idler pulleys number 40 are attached to it. The nut is number 14 that is the one I don't know how to remove. Thanks for any help!
