Thank you all for your help. I was able to find replacements on eBay, which was purely luck as the intake valve I purchased was the only one available.

How much material can you take off? Is there enough material to reface a shallow groove?

I also saw it both ways as well.

Hi All, I'm working on a seized FA210D-AS17 motor off a 3-bag bagger which is attached to a 1989 JD 855, the bagger is likely from around the same year. I went to my local JD dealer to purchase a set of new valves and was told that the valves are no longer in stock and have been discontinued...
