Buying a forever lawnmower. Lawnmower buying advice.

Snap-on, Mac etc are great tools if your making a living with them & Harbor Freight can compare with the "Yugo" per say. But there are great in-between tools, Craftsman is just one for example.

Buying a forever lawnmower. Lawnmower buying advice.

How long does the battery last in months/years & what is the cost of a replacement battery? Usually the replacement battery is almost as much as the tool.

    Husqvarna Chainsaw Wire

My 350 has a two wire "harness". the long blue wire goes from the coil male spade to the red kill switch & the black wire goes to the coil ground bolt & is connected/soldered to that same blue wire. Now there is a short 6 inch black wire that comes off that male spade on top of the "Z" cut off...

Older vs new Snapper Lawn mower

There's a idler pulley on the "trans/diff" that gets lose or there's a bearing that goes bad & the belt lose's all tension. Problem is no one seems to have a "fix" (diagram, part #, etc) for this pulley.

    stump grinder

Anyone have any suggestions for a homeowner buying a stump grinder? Make, price, etc? I have about 3 acre's with some trees that have to come down & the stumps must go. Paying to have them removed vs buying one would be off setting & I'd have it or sell it in the end. Most of the stumps are 18"...

Which 2 cycle brand do you prefer?

None ! They stink, smoke, Their a PITA to start. Bigger PITA mixing gas/oil & keeping track of the cans via ratio's. The one improvement some made is the electric start with a drill

Edelbrock Electric Fuel Pump For IS3000Z

The only issue I see with the electric pump is to much fuel pressure. I believe a 12v pump auto carburetor is around 15lbs Of course you can install a regulator. Just looked at that Edelbrock pump. I'd try it!!
