Stamped into the block. I couldn’t find ANY markings of what kind of engine it is. I bought it new and just assumed it was a Briggs. What an idiot.

I tried to attach a pic but it says it’s too large. This is exactly what is stamped on the engine as well as both stickers. It’s a 306cc engine on an Ariens AX306 snowblower. PW8HK17950 781DE-ABGILOQTUVX59E1M 1495H0907680A

Also I sprayed starting fluid around the carb when it was running earlier and there was no change in idle so the gaskets should all be good.

Carb is clean as a whistle and I cleaned it in my ultrasonic cleaner. Funny you mention the jets as it does have the smaller jets which I thought was odd. Also the bowl gasket has a super slow leak and I finally just got the new one in the mail and installed it today. The machine is like 15...
