I have a 1995 john deere lawn tractor. When i push on the brake it will always start if the small red light on the circuit board is lit up red. When i let up on the brake and the red light goes off the tractor stalls. Then if i pump the brake pedal maybe 20 times and get the red light to stay on...

I checked the switch like you said and it checked out like you said it should.I also checked the brake and seat switches and they check out ok so I will wait until it happens again and go from there.Thanks for your advice I appreciate it very much
