    U shaped belt guide

I've seen Racoons on Game camera that will not go into a baited live trap. I started putting brush over the live trap so as it would look like a brush pile to get the smart ones. A big racoon can do damage to a live trap also. I've noticed: A trapper has to get smarter and more cunning than...

    U shaped belt guide

Good idea about wiring the floor. When I see a animal tunneling under a barn or similar I take a piece of sheet iron or even fencing type chicken wire and bury it just under the ground at the tunnel and along the edge. When they try to tunnel again they hit the steel or wire and move on. Works...

    U shaped belt guide

Mice and Rats can be tough on eq. They sometimes get by my Kitty cats for awhile. Inside my shops I built some live traps using 5 gallon buckets. Mice are usually still alive when I check the traps unless in cold winter they are frozen stiff. Live traps help with reducing the stink of dead rodents.

    Tecumseh Broke Rod

Phil Swift has several products that might be useable by you on that poor old Tecumseh. Check out the race car he put back together at about 3:32 of this video at this link.

    8Ten mower deck spindles

I use 8ten spindles. But very little grease is inside the bearings. I re-pack them if it's my own eq. 8ten has deck rebuild kits that can be bought for just few dollar more than just their spindles. You get all spindles with pulleys, idler pulleys, deck belt,

    Briggs 31R headache...

I agree with you. Let the customer have it back. Time to throw In the towel, due to time and parts wise. Since I have good donor heads I would probably replace the head before I went inside inspecting the cam as the last thing to check.. It seems to be indicating the Intake valve is not...

Gcv 160 only run on choke

AND take pics when taking the carb off. Some of them pressure washer engines have a sandwiched type of area when bolting them to the manifold, easy to take off but not user friendly re-installing and trying to keep everything sandwich aligned. The use of headless studs is a big help keeping...

    Tecumseh Broke Rod

Most likely not worth the effort. I've seen quite a few Tecumseh's with broken rods, usually due to being operated with the timing too fast. Parts and pieces from some models sell good on Flea bay. Tecumseh's and doing repairs of this nature is in the category of dinosaur's, dinosaurs eggs and...

    Leaking crank seal

Agree: That is why I suggested time to start measuring things. He said he replaced the sump that has new sleeve bearing, so it's time to mic the crankshaft in the area where the seal lip is located. If the crankshaft has a seal wear ring on the crankshaft at the seal area and the crankshaft...
