i replaced the pcv hoses from pcv valve to intake and the hoses from the heads with clear hoses, and when the engine had run about 2 minutes the oil started to push up from the valve covers and after 5 minutes the oil entered the intake manifold, i removed the injectors and made a compression...

i mesured the oil when i filled it, 2.27 without filter liter, but on john deere website it says 1.9 without filter this is scary, my good if it had started rev like crazy........

i think i maby find the reason, Wrong dipstick!!! and also wrong info in the service manual, my manual says 2.27 Liters without oil filter, and then it is to the mark "full" on dipstick, but when i go to John deere home site it says max oil without oil filter 1.9 liter, so i have about 0,4 liter...

the engine behave like this when you get low on gas in the carburetor, do you have a fuel pump on this machine?

i read on the seafoam bottle that you can add this to the engine oil, anyone tried that? i should have about 70ml in 2.3l oil, your pint and quarts converted to liter.

you can not buy seafoam in Sweden, but i buyed one on ebay a while back..:), now it is coming to handy..=) i will change the oil to 15w40, need to find a god one, i have read on internet that ppl put some ATF oil in the oil, and that will clean the internal off the engine, but it seams scary...

not a drop of oil anyware, yes it is rather strange after 15 years..=), i will put this Omega 917 in it tomorrow, i have had much luck with this stop leak, it pore out the calk(chalky deposit) in the rubber that make them hard and the seals start to seal again, i hope this will work.

it is a diesel spec oil and what i can understand is ok?, are they sensitive on to thin oil?

I use fully synthetic 10w30
